Meet Serenity! Patti Dawson, her foster parent, was immediately drawn to the cute pup’s cheerful demeanor upon meeting her. Serenity approached Patti with excitement, eager to receive some affection and attention. However, there is a sad reality that Serenity’s life may be limited. The vet confirmed that her invasive tumor has affected the bones in her face, including her nasal cavity, eye sockets, and skull. Despite this, Serenity is still able to breathe, eat, and see for now. Although some may worry that Serenity might be in pain, Dawson assures everyone that Serenity seems to be comfortable and content. Nonetheless, Dawson understands that this might change as time goes by.
Dawson stated that while the news wasn’t what they had hoped for, they won’t give up on loving Serenity and providing her with a good life. To make the remaining time memorable for Serenity, Dawson indulged her with tasty dishes and frequent play sessions. Additionally, she enlisted the help of a photographer to take stunning pictures of Serenity, which would encourage individuals to contribute towards her care.

Dawson explained that when the time comes, Serenity will bid her farewell. But, for now, she will continue to enjoy living her best life in the care of her loving foster home.
