A dog named Mam Nata, who is pregnant, was abandoned at the doorstep of the IAPA on December 22nd. The staff at the Instituto Amour em Patas (IAPA) did their best to make her feel at ease, but it took some time for her to overcome her fear and weak condition. Sadly, her owner left her behind because they were afraid of dealing with the upcoming litter.
At first, the woman was protective of her mother and wouldn’t let the volunteers at the shelter near her. However, over time she warmed up to them and became more friendly. One of the volunteers reported that she might be pregnant with around twelve babies. As a result of her weakened state, her test has been scheduled for the following day. I will be staying up all night with Natajuli to make sure everything is ready for her upcoming scan. Natajuli has received permission to return to the shelter with the necessary supplies to deliver her puppies. Amazingly, she has already had one intelligent little boy and ended up giving birth to a total of fourteen healthy and beautiful puppies. What are your thoughts on the large litter size?
During Natajuli’s visit to the vet, her 14 adorable puppies were examined with an ultrasound and blood tests. Although the mother seemed a little flushed, her puppies were all in good health and growing well. I felt overwhelmed with emotion when I saw how content Natajuli was with her gorgeous offspring. My heart filled with love, and I wanted to give them all the affection they deserved!
I had a complete mental block and completely forgot to give these charming 14 miniature creatures any names.
