Love perceives through the heart and not the eyes. A delightful companionship that exists is between a feline and a canine. Although there are no dogs that mimic cats, numerous kitties relish in the feeling of being robust and exhibiting dog-like behavior. There are numerous anecdotes to substantiate the fact that dogs and cats can become inseparable friends.
Thi Bui shared the story of their new kitten, Rosie. Initially, Rosie appeared to be fine but suddenly stopped eating and became inactive. Despite receiving plenty of human attention, it was evident that Rosie required a mother figure. Thus, they introduced her to Lilo, one of their huskies, who surprisingly took on the role of a mother immediately. Even though Lilo had her puppies a week ago, she still dedicated her time to nurturing Rosie. Thanks to Lilo’s incredible care, Rosie’s condition has significantly improved, and she is growing up believing she is a husky. In fact, she even joins them on walks!
Thi Bui, Thoa Bui, and Tram Bui have become proud owners of four cats, two huskies, and two rabbits who have developed an amazing friendship. Their Instagram account, Lilo the Husky, has gained a massive following of almost 41,000 people. Thi Bui mentioned that even after a year and a half, Lilo and Rosie’s bond remains intact and they do not let anything come between them. It is amusing to observe that they sleep while touching each other in the same room. Rosie tries to imitate Lilo in every way possible, including eating dog food when nobody is looking. Despite being small, she energetically chases the huskies while playing.
Having a Siberian husky as a mother has had a lasting impact on Rosie, and it seems to have influenced her behavior in some ways. After observing her mother going outside to relieve herself, Rosie followed suit and began doing the same. She also insists on being leashed when going for walks, just like a typical dog. In fact, she has even formed close bonds with Bui’s other pets, including her “siblings” Infinity and Miko. Although it may seem unusual, it’s understandable that Rosie might identify more with dogs than with humans, given the love and care she received from her furry mother. And despite growing up, Rosie’s canine companion remains a constant source of comfort and support.
The tiny feline seemed to have just entered the world at a mere 14 days old.
