A Dog’s Incredible Courage: Fighting a Giant Tumor for 7 Years

For more than six years, the previous employers failed to adhere to the recommended salary range. The unfortunate pup was in tremendous agony, weeping incessantly and unable to move his head.

The Long Way Hoe rescue team recently took in a dog named Jake, whose previous owners neglected his health for six years. Despite being loved, Jake’s owners failed to take him to the vet when his face started swelling. Finally, he received the care he needed from the rescue team.

As per the owners, Jake has been living with a limp for six long years and they attribute it to a snake bite. He is quite domesticated and well-behaved as he was raised as a house dog. Along with being toilet trained, he also gets along nicely with other dogs and doesn’t mind being picked up. All in all, he’s a great companion. “Thanks to his owners’ love and care.”

Cribs for Canines has taken on the task of persuading Jake to transfer ownership since he was found wandering in a secluded part of Texas recently. Their goal is to provide Jake with the necessary veterinary treatment he requires. He is currently receiving medical care in Waco, and his condition has significantly improved after having significant amounts of fluid drained, as confirmed by the group.

We want to express our appreciation for the amazing team at the Texas Animal Medical Center located in Waco. Dr. Lide and his associates took great care of our beloved pet, Jake. They successfully removed 1200cc of saline from his neck, which made a remarkable difference as you can see in the last two photos. We are extremely grateful for their dedication and expertise.

Jake has achieved something remarkable after 6 long years – he hasn’t looked back! This feat may seem simple, but for Jake, it’s a significant milestone. He’s been keeping up with his eating habits and bathroom trips, staying positive, and overall, things are looking great for him. This information comes straight from the agency.

It’s impossible to guarantee that Jake will completely recover, but those who have taken him in are putting in their all to give him the best shot at healing.
